The Prosperity Partnership is a collective impact initiative with numerous business and community partners implementing a strategic plan to help guide Broward County toward a future economy that includes high-wage jobs, global competitiveness, and vibrant communities by the year 2030.
The Prosperity Partnership is an initiative of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.
In 2011, more than 350 Broward County business, civic, academic and government leaders, volunteers and community residents began developing a strategic visioning plan through the year 2030, using the Six Pillars framework of the Florida Chamber Foundation as a strategic planning tool.
Since 2012, thousands of local business, academic, community, and public leaders have participated in Six Pillars Broward to help elevate our communities' priorities and collaboratively drives initiatives to create solutions.
In 2021, Six Pillars Broward evolved into the Prosperity Partnership, a collective impact initiative with a long-standing, successful community-wide partnership, backed by leading organizations across business, nonprofit, education and government. All are dedicated to the goal of creating a thriving, diverse, vibrant, inclusive economic community and powering prosperity for all.
We target eleven critical areas of greatest impact to our community’s stability, resiliency, growth and quality of life. Partner with us as we reimagine tomorrow, together.
In order to foster a workforce prepared to meet the needs of employers in the future, Broward County must have a skilled workforce that is well educated, with skills that match the needs of employers.
