The Prosperity Partnership is a strategic visioning plan initiative for Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County, spearheaded by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Foundation. The Partnership aims to improve residents' lives through several initiatives to support economically sustainable communities. The Alliance Foundation strives to create an economic climate where Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County residents have access to quality opportunities, focusing on higher-paying jobs in target industries. Based on the Florida Chamber of Commerce's vision for a prosperous community, The Prosperity Partnership is driving our businesses' growth and improving our communities' quality of life. The Prosperity Partnership is an initiative of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.
In 2011, more than 350 Broward County business, civic, academic and government leaders, volunteers and community residents began developing a strategic visioning plan through the year 2030, using the Six Pillars framework of the Florida Chamber Foundation as a strategic planning tool.
Since 2012, thousands of local business, academic, community, and public leaders have participated in Six Pillars Broward to help elevate our communities' priorities and collaboratively drive initiatives to create solutions.
In 2021, Six Pillars Broward evolved into the Prosperity Partnership, a strategic visioning initative with a long-standing, successful community-wide partnership backed by leading organizations across business, nonprofits, education, and government. All are dedicated to the goal of creating a thriving, diverse, vibrant, inclusive economic community and powering prosperity for all.
